Christmas Wonder

I don’t know about you, but the last few years I have turned into an online shopper.  Hard core.  I am no longer a “go out all crazy hours of the night black Friday shopper”, I am a “home in my jammies and cozy socks online shopping kind of girl”.

Seriously, I feel like the UPS and FedEx trucks have been living at my house.  They even leave treats for our dog on top of the boxes, when we’re not home!  It’s Christmas, AND we have two kiddos birthday’s in December.  That’s a lot of gifts.  And we save.  All. Year. Long.  [Thank you Dave Ramsey!!]

No matter how old or how young you are, Christmas has a special sort of magic to it.  And I don’t mean worldly “magic”.

Think about it, it’s the only time of the year where people go out of their way to help others, to be generous and be kind.  I can’t think of another time of the year where all these things happen, without complaint.  There’s a special spirit about Christmas time, and I believe it’s all because of Jesus.

You see, everything that everyone loves about Christmas…love, goodness, putting others before yourself, gentleness, helping the needy, the orphaned and the widows, kindness, giving…all of it…

…is who Jesus IS!

No matter what you’ve been through, this is a season of HOPE.  A reminder that Hope has come.  A reminder that Jesus, Yeshua, the Messiah…left all of Heaven, for all of YOU.  All of your faults and your mistakes.  [mine too.]

Christmas is a time of wonder.  A time of renewed hope.  And a time of thanks

Thanks for His coming, for His life, His dying and His resurrecting.

He really still is everything the Word says He is…Mighty! Everlasting! Wonderful Counselor! Prince of Peace!

At Christmas, and every day.

It’s my prayer that each and every one of you have the best Christmas season yet, full of Hope, Joy and abundant Love!

For unto us a child is born, a Son is given.  And the government will be on His shoulders.  And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,  Prince of Peace.”  Isaiah 9:6
